.csv File Basically, a .csv file is a list of comma-separated values. The comma-separated values (.csv) file format is a delimited data format where fields or values are separated with a comma and each record is on a new line. Values that contain a comma, line break, or double quote character, or that start or end with a space, must be enclosed in double quotes.
Bandwidth Bandwidth is a measurement of the amount of data allowed to pass between a user’s Web site and the rest of the Internet. For example, if your Web site—hosted on a 2GB/month Deluxe hosting account—contains a 1MB picture, that picture can be viewed 2000 times before you exceed the 2,000MB (2GB) limit. You are responsible for ensuring excessive loading does not occur on the DNS or hosting servers. Exceeding your allotted monthly bandwidth results in overloading and will incur an additional charge. Thus, if visitor number 2001 wants to view the same picture, you will be assessed any and all fees, costs, and penalties resulting from the overloading. Failure to pay such bandwidth charges may result in site redirection. In general, if you have a commercial site or a site that generates a lot of traffic, you should consider getting additional bandwidth. If you have a basic, personal site that you have set up for friends and family, you probably do not need to order additional bandwidth.

Dedicated IP A dedicated IP (Internet Protocol) is a unique Internet address dedicated exclusively to a single hosting account. Normally, several hosting accounts reside on a single server and share that server's IP address. Dedicated IP addresses are usually used for large SSL-encrypted secure Web sites and particularly large and/or traffic-heavy sites. Most shared hosting users have no particular need for a dedicated IP address. However, a dedicated IP address for your hosting account enables you to: * View your Web site via its IP address. * Access your accounts by FTP or the Web when the domain name is otherwise inaccessible, such as during domain name propagation periods. * Ensure faster response during periods of high traffic load. * Set up SSL protection on your Web site.
Domain kiting Domain kiting is the process of registering a domain to test it for monetization purposes and then, if it doesn't generate advertising revenue, cancelling it within the five-day grace period for a full refund. Typically, registrants register recently expired domains that may still receive traffic from search engines and other visitors. If the domain has the potential to earn enough money to exceed the cost of registration, the registrant keeps the domain. If the domain does not have the potential to earn enough money to exceed the cost of registration, the registrant cancels the domain for a full refund.

RAID RAID stands for Redundant Array of Independent Disks. In general, RAID takes advantage of multiple hard drivers to promote reliability, capacity, or performance. If you purchased RAID for your dedicated server, it will create an exact copy (or mirror) of all of your data on two disks. It typically refers to the organization or entity associated with the IP address. For example, in www.cnn.com "cnn" is a second-level domain. Second-level domains can be divided into further domain levels (for example, www.sportsillustrated.cnn.com). These sub domains sometimes represent different computer servers within departments. Once a secure connection is established, SSL encrypts information sent from your browser to the Web server.
SSL Certificates An SSL certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a Web site and encrypts information that is sent to the server using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
